Hidden Closet Expands For Small Spaces
Hidden Closet Expands For Small Spaces

If you live in a small place, closet space is always an issue. Clothing gets hung up and pushed back into the peripheral abyss, never to be seen again until the annual spring cleaning. In an attempt to mitigate this common problem, product designer Hosun Ching's Walk-In Closet opens up and unfolds to reveal a highly-organized storage system for clothing, shoes and accessories behind its plain exterior -- plus two built-in, full-length mirrors.

The depth of a standard wardrobe is 60cm. That is simply not practical, because it means that you literally lose sight of your clothing; and what you don’t see, you don’t wear. Walk-In Closet is a smart storage unit designed to solve this problem.

It opens out into a mini-fitting room, complete with mirrors to view outfits from every angle. The focus is on organisation and visibility. There are drawers for accessories and the reduced depth does away with those ‘hidden’ stacks.

We're liking these clear drawers that can store accessories or folded clothing; it's almost like a curio of sorts.
